Congratulations! You’ve had your micro wedding at the Toronto Wedding Chapel!  Unfortunately, you’ve discovered that it can take 10-14 weeks for your licence to be processed and the certificate to be issued when you order it. But you need it SOONER!!

Ontario Marriage Certificate

To qualify for an expedited marriage certificate, the marriage must be registered in Ontario and you must provide proof of urgency along with your complete and correct applications forms and fee. Proof of urgency may include documentation of a medical emergency.

Write a letter explaining the reasons of urgency to request the emergency service. Please be truthful! And be kind in how you write it. These steps may expedite the process and shorten processing times to 2-6 weeks.  Proof of urgency can help you receive your Marriage Certificate faster than you otherwise would be able to.
