Very beautiful place. A small chapel.

Designated parking not available but you can easily find parking there. The owners are a very sweet couple. Very friendly and welcoming. They had good selection of music and the place was maintained neat and clean. The service was done very patiently and beautifully ..! All covid protocols were followed. Would highly recommend this place. A special mention to the pastor as well. She spoke amazingly well.

Since the day I got engaged I tried to envision what my wedding would look like. While I knew it would be beautiful, I never could have imagined it to be as breathtaking as it was. My husband and I always knew we wanted a small, intimate wedding so we decided to check out the Toronto Wedding Chapel. From the moment I laid eyes on the room and saw the potential for my dream to become a reality I was sold. Of course Katherine was the cherry on the cake.. She has a knack for making you feel taken care of and always followed through. She took care of things I hadn’t even thought of, and the communication was thorough. My wedding day not only was a success, but my guests all left happy. The food was to die for, cake was amazing, flowers were beyond anything I could have expected, and the service was impeccable. They made sure everyone was catered for, including my hyper 4 year old son and niece. The photographer was thorough, making sure to capture any specific shots I had in mind. I could go on for days here but what I’m trying to say is that the TWC is a great place to tie the knot. I will look back on that day with nothing but good memories. Not a single thing went wrong, apart from the rain and even that was handled well! Thank you Katherine and TWC for making my dream wedding a reality. I will cherish those memories for an eternity.

Definitely more romantic than a courthouse wedding…

My Husband and I had a private wedding at this venue, it was just the two of us and no guests. It couldn’t have been better even though the staff were our witnesses, they were warm and caring and the officiant said all the right things for our vows. Our pictures turned out beautifully and the bouquet they let me use was gorgeous and in good taste, as was the decor. It was definitely more romantic than a courthouse wedding and I’d even trust them had we wanted more people there. They were kind and seemed to really enjoy the business they are in. I know that a person gave a bad review about Katherine’s phone manners which is possible but could have been a fluke incident. She was very pleasant and patient to us even though we changed our minds 3 times about what date we wanted. The price was fair and we have no regrets about choosing this place or each other…lol.

She made it happen beyond my wildest dreams — On July 9th, 2016 my wedding took place and it was the most romantic and beautiful wedding I have ever been too and a few times I even told guests “I feel like Cinderella!”

I truly felt like it because of the awesome job Katherine and her team did. I cannot thank them enough. Every single thing was on point, not a single flower out of place. I didn’t want to leave, everything was so perfect. Romantic and Beautiful. I was late arriving and about to have a panic attack and it was Katherine that settled my nerves and told me to breathe. I knew with her there everything would be perfect, even if I was late…and it was =)

The food was amazing, decor beyond words (Rustic Shabby chic was my theme) and the cake the best I have ever eaten. The staff made sure my husband and I ate and even made sure our two little ones ate as well. A booster seat and Highchair were there for added convenience.

Paula performed our ceremony and wow, she made it so personal and flawless. I was sad to see the happiest day of my life end, it was just so perfect and beautiful. Thank you Katherine and everyone at the Toronto Wedding Chapel for making me feel like Cinderella and creating the most perfect wedding!

David Tutera had better watch out, there is a Canadian Wedding Queen that can do circle around him when it comes to weddings.

All I basically had to do was pick a colour theme and the ALL the rest of the details were taken care of for me! Also, the food was excellent, all of my guests loved it! I cannot say thank you enough!

My husband and I got married at The Toronto Wedding Chapel a few short days ago. It was a very magical experience for us both. We had 24 guests; a nice small and intimate wedding with beautiful decor and tasty food. Katherine did such a wonderful job staying in touch to organize all the details and it was even more beautiful when we got to the venue than I ever imagined it would be. We chose a white and black damask theme and all the other decor pieces were intricate and matched our theme perfectly. We had beautiful flowers and an even more beautiful cake. When you ask Katherine to find certain designs for your cake, bouquet, and centre pieces, she has no problem finding the best of the best. Myself and my bridesmaids had the opportunity to get ready in the bridal suite before the wedding. Katherine even recommended a hair and make up artist that would come right to the venue. We sipped on ice cold water and other beverages while getting ready in the air conditioned space. All of our guests left happy and we now have wonderful memories to look back on for years and years to come. Thank you so, so very much for a wonderful venue with all the fixings, Katherine! Thank you to all of Katherine’s team as well. The staff were amazing, our officiant created a beautiful atmosphere with her words, and our photographer was one of the nicest people I have ever met! I cannot say thank you enough!

Just to clarify, the entire Yonge Street/ Forest Hill belt is steeped in TRADITONAL charm of Old Toronto with graceful architecture that speaks of a cultured and stately past which still carries over into the present where modern structures(condos, store fronts, shops, office buildings) now attempt to hold hands with the more historied buildings and facades.

I was pleasantly surprised when after being referred to the chapel by a friend, I arrived to find that the owner, Katherine, was Jamaican! Like myself! That, as well as the tastefully decorated interior of the chapel had me SOLD from jump.

Katherine was very helpful and professional and assisted me and my husband to plan our PERFECT day. She was not a business owner, she was like a sister, a friend and a Wedding Planner with expert advice about what pitfalls to avoid to ensure our wedding day was a success.

I left the Chapel at Twilight imbued with #HOPE that I was going to have the BEST wedding ever! And We did! Everything was perfection on the day. Katherine was a study of professional calm. Everything happened on schedule like clock work and when things ran a little over the time lines as LIFE has a way sometimes of UN-PLANNING itself; she adjusted and accommodated, assisted and kept everything flowing smoothly.

The House photographer who was part of the wedding package we bought was #SUPERB! He captured moments we could not otherwise have held onto except in our heads and I was amazed at some of his time capsuled shutter by shutter snaps. He was able to gift my husband and I the pleasure of reliving our wedding day over and over again. Our wedding photos are amazing! We love them!

If you are operating on a tight budget but do not want to sacrifice the ultimate classic wedding experience; #TheTorontoWeddngChapel should be on your list of venues to review before choosing the place where you will say I DO. I don’t normally write reviews, but definitely had to for our wedding at The Toronto Wedding Chapel. We wanted to have a wedding that was intimate, elegant, with a great dinner/dancing package. The Toronto Wedding Chapel did just that and more! We did not want the stress of planning and coordinating details, we just wanted to provide our style for decor, choose our food and have every other detail looked after and coordinated for us. We went online and saw the Toronto Wedding Chapel and booked a quick appointment to come in and see the space (which was beautiful) and right around Yonge and Davisville which was so convenient for us. Katherine knew her stuff!! she was able to tell the type of bride I was, and had great recommendations. She was spot on with the decor, ceremony, food and type of wedding that we wanted. Within 30 mins of our visit we had most of the details already planned out, i.e. decor, colors, flowers, food, seating arrangement, cake etc. she even had amazing suggestions such as providing a candy station for kids (lots of kids in the family). There was no need to look any further, I knew I was in good hands.. We actually got married 5 months after the initial appointment. For anyone looking for a classy intimate venue where all the details will be taken care of for you, take a look at their website. All packages are listed with actual pricing (without any surprise costs)! Which was amazing for budgeting. For the ceremony, the officiant was great, we opted for a Christian Ceremony and also got to review what was going to be said, the food was excellent (we opted for Italian Buffet), the cake was fabulous – we chose white chocolate mousse, music was supplied, as well as decor and flowers on tables..- we chose light pink and white which to me was classic and elegant. Our package even included photography! Everton, our photographer was awesome, he was able to direct us on poses and creative shots. We were only married a few weeks ago, and can’t wait get our pics. Our wedding was perfect, stress-free, in style and on budget. Thank you so much Katherine, Everton and team!

The first time I got married there were so many things that went wrong so this time I was so nervous and wanted everything to be perfect. I called the Wedding Chapel in December and after meeting Katherine that first day, was blown away. The space is so beautiful and romantic, I didn’t look at any other venues, I knew this was the space for my wedding.

Katherine took care of everything, even ordered special things so the image in my head was turned into reality. She confirmed every detail and triple checked everything with me to make sure everything was as expected. Little did I know it was beyond what I could ever imagine. It was totally stress free – Katherine took away every single bit of stress. Planning my wedding with her was so much fun. She made it happen beyond my wildest dreams — On July 9th, 2016 my wedding took place and it was the most romantic and beautiful wedding I have ever been too and a few times I even told guests “I feel like Cinderella!”

I truly felt like it because of the awesome job Katherine and her team did. I cannot thank them enough. Every single thing was on point, not a single flower out of place. I didn’t want to leave, everything was so perfect. Romantic and Beautiful.

I was late arriving and about to have a panic attack and it was Katherine that settled my nerves and told me to breathe. I knew with her there everything would be perfect, even if I was late…and it was =) The food was amazing, decor beyond words (Rustic Shabby chic was my theme) and the cake the best I have ever eaten. The staff made sure my husband and I ate and even made sure our two little ones ate as well. A booster seat and Highchair were there for added convenience. Paula performed our ceremony and wow, she made it so personal and flawless.

I was sad to see the happiest day of my life end, it was just so perfect and beautiful. Thank you Katherine and everyone at the Toronto Wedding Chapel for making me feel like Cinderella and creating the most perfect wedding!

My husband and I (I still can’t believe we are married now) got married on February 21, 2015. We wanted an intimate ceremony with our close friends and family. Katherine and her staff offered us everything (and even more) of what we were expecting.

The chapel was wonderful, I was delighted by the cozy setting and the decor was like I imagined. The catering was amazing, the food delicious and the wait staff really professional and welcoming. I wanted a venue that was small, but intimate for my 25 guests so I began my search online for small venues in Toronto in March. I found the Toronto Wedding Chapel and was very impressed with the packages, the decorations and testimonials and decided to contact them the next morning.

The person who answered the phone was very pleasant and answered all my questions including inviting me to come the next day to look at the venue and discuss further what our ideas for our wedding were.

The moment my friend and I entered the Chapel, I was ready to book my August wedding. The welcome received from Katherine and the great ideas she suggested made me develop an instant trust for her to plan my wedding. As the months go by Katherine was always quick to reply to our emails, provide options for our ideas and most of all worked with our budget.

Our big day came and everything was perfect, the food was delicious, the decoration was awesome and the wait staff were pleasant and attentive. Everton captured our engagement shoot the week before which was professional but so much fun, and he made our day even more memorable.

Our visitors from the Caribbean and the USA were very impressed with how well organized Katherine and her team were.

When Ian and I decided to get married, we knew we wanted a small intimate wedding. However, we did not want to miss out on all the things that come with a larger wedding such as flowers, dinner, dancing, cake, a simple yet elegant ceremony—we wanted it all except we wanted someone else to do all the work for us. We needed an expert wedding planner. We found her, Katherine, at the Toronto Wedding Chapel.

The main problem though was me, a very detailed oriented bride who also just happened to get stressed out quite easily. Katherine was just the perfect person to make my vision a reality, by not only creating the perfect venue, but also by her calming presence and sense of humour.

My color theme was emerald green. When Katherine discovered that the place where she got the table linens did not have my colour, she found the exact swatch of material and had the table runners made for us. They were so beautiful as well as the rest of the décor for both in the chapel and the reception.

When I wasn’t sure where I should go to have my makeup and hair done for both me and my Matron of Honour, she suggested a pair of very talented artisans who not only made me feel like a queen when they had finished but who also came right to the chapel to do it.

Katherine put up with a lot of emails, visits and calls but everything fell into place on the wedding day. All Ian and I had to do was sit back, relax and enjoy. Both our families and friends made very favourable comments about how everything was so well organized and presented.

Everton, the photographer, was superb and kept me smiling all through the important moments of the day. Together both he and Katherine with their expertise gave Ian and me wonderful memories to reflect back on.

I would highly recommend the Chapel, Katherine, Everton and her crew for any couple looking for a unique and intimate wedding. Thank you for being a part of our special day and for making our dream come true.

My first telephone conversation with Katherine was downright hilarious, which immediately put me at ease. I remember the day so clearly that we decided to Google a wedding planner, I was very skeptic because there were so many to choose from and we wanted to get married in 2 months time. After seeing all of Katherine previous work I just literally sat back and let her take control and do her job. We told Katherine what we wanted and liked for our special day and she delivered exactly that and more on our wedding day. We wanted a small ceremony, but thanks to a major snow storm the day before, it was even smaller than we planned for. My husband and I got married at the Toronto Wedding Chapel this year, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a small, beautiful, classy affair.

We had 25 people and wanted something quiet and intimate and very special. The Toronto Wedding Chapel delivered in SPADES! The actual function space is lovely – very white and zen and simple – not overly decorated. Katherine at the venue arranged everything….from the venue decor (red roses and tablecloths added for us because red was our colour) to the officiant…from the food and drinks to the wedding cake. The food was fantastic and I have friends still raving about it months later (who else gets to choose to have sushi at a wedding if they want it?) The chocolate mousse wedding cake was utterly divine, and I had to do *nothing* except approve the menu and show up. Katherine took care of everything (even the printing of our invitations) with class and finesse! My few small special requests were no problem, and our wedding day? Perfect to the last detail.

We really have had a lot of trouble trying to get our wedding organized. We had originally wanted a destination wedding, however experienced no responses to our many inquiries at many different hotels. We even had an agent involved for a while, but still with no answers! I attended my cousin’s wedding there this past weekend and I was blown away! Xavier and I want to thank you for helping to make our special day so memorable! The chapel looked beautiful and everything went off without a hitch. The Web cast was truly the icing on the cake! Our family and friends from France were able to watch the ceremony live and felt like they were with us. As for our story: Xavier and I met Sept. 22, 1987 in an elementary school in Paris, France, when I moved to France with my family. Xavier and I became good friends and I knew he had a crush on me. My family moved back to Canada, after a year and a half, in 1988. Xavier would send me love letters – some of which I still have. We lost touch, but I often thought of him and wondered what he was up to. I found Xavier on the internet through a mutual friend in 2002, and we e-mailed once in a while. I was so happy when I found my friend again nearly 20 years later. We saw each other again for the first time in 17 years later Dec. 27, 2006 in Paris while I was visiting my family. I never expected we would fall in love. After two years of long-distance, Xavier moved to Canada in October 2008.

Having worked in customer service for over 12 years for the top bank in Canada I demand/know excellent customer service. I usually decide if I am going to do business with a company based on the services I get on the phone and the very first time I contacted Katherine via telephone I was veryyyyyyyy impressed with the reception I got and right away I decided that this is where I was going to have my wedding (August 2013).

When I met her in person I was blown away even more. She has the most pleasant and patient personality I have ever interacted with. She exceeded my expectation with ideas and suggestions for my special day and that’s what EXCELLENT customer service should be.

Our officiant was perfect, neither one of us felt nervous at all standing there with her. Katherine was the sweetest kindest and easiest person to work with, she gives you the feeling that you’ve known her for years.

The day of our wedding, Katherine and her staff were on point, the food was delicious and everyone’s glasses were always topped up.

You can tell that Katherine and her team have been doing this for some time and doing it exceedingly well.

They surpassed our expectations.
