Today is a very special day for all of us at the Toronto Wedding Chapel & Event Space.
Exactly 20 years ago, on August 11, 2006, we opened the doors of the Toronto Wedding Chapel with a simple vision: to create a warm and welcoming place where couples could celebrate one of life’s most meaningful moments — getting married.
Today, August 11, 2026, we are incredibly proud and grateful to celebrate our 20th anniversary!
20 Years, Thousands of Love Stories
When we first began this journey, we could never have imagined just how many wonderful people would walk through our doors.
Over the past two decades, we have had the privilege of being part of thousands of weddings and love stories. We have watched couples walk down the aisle, exchange vows, laugh, cry, celebrate and begin the next chapter of their lives together.
Every ceremony has been different. Every couple has had their own story. And every wedding has become a small part of our story too.
For us, that is what makes reaching 20 years so meaningful.
We haven’t simply been in business for 20 years — we have spent 20 years celebrating love.
From a Wedding Chapel to So Much More
Toronto Wedding Chapel has grown and evolved considerably since August 2006.
What began as a place for couples looking for a beautiful, intimate and straightforward way to get married has grown into a venue where couples can create a wedding day that truly reflects who they are.
Over the years, we have continued to expand our services and wedding options while staying true to what has always made us special: intimate celebrations with a personal touch.
Today, couples can join us for everything from a simple legal marriage ceremony to a beautifully personalized micro wedding, photography, cocktail reception or intimate wedding dinner.
Our space may have changed over the years, our décor has evolved and our services have grown, but one thing has never changed:
Our couples are at the heart of everything we do.

A 20-year anniversary is not something a business reaches on its own.
So today, more than anything, we simply want to say:

To every couple who chose the Toronto Wedding Chapel for their special day — thank you for trusting us with such an important moment in your lives.
To the couples and families who recommended us to friends, relatives and co-workers — thank you. Your referrals and kind words have helped our small business grow year after year.
To our wedding officiants, photographers, florists, caterers, musicians and the many other vendors and professionals we have worked with over the years — thank you for helping us create so many beautiful celebrations.
To our friends and family who have encouraged and supported us through the exciting times, the challenging times and everything in between — we could not have reached this milestone without you.
And to our community here in Toronto — thank you for allowing us to call this city home for the past 20 years.
The Greatest Compliment Has Always Been Your Referrals
One of the things we are most proud of is how much of our growth has come from people telling other people about us.
A couple gets married here and later recommends us to a friend.
A parent attends their son or daughter’s wedding and tells someone about the chapel.
A photographer, officiant or vendor sends another couple our way.
Sometimes, years later, we even hear again from couples whose wedding we were privileged to be part of.
Those recommendations mean more to us than we can adequately express.
When someone recommends the Toronto Wedding Chapel, they are putting their own trust and reputation behind us. We have never taken that lightly.

20 Years Behind Us — and a New Chapter Ahead
While today gives us an opportunity to look back, we are equally excited about what comes next.
Weddings have changed tremendously since we opened our doors in 2006. Couples today are increasingly choosing celebrations that are smaller, more personal and focused on the people and moments that matter most to them.
In many ways, that is exactly what the Toronto Wedding Chapel has always been about.
As we enter our next chapter, we look forward to continuing to grow, evolve and find new ways to make intimate weddings and celebrations memorable.
Most importantly, we look forward to welcoming many more couples through our doors and being part of thousands more love stories in the years ahead.
